THE PLAY OF THE WEEK

As many of you know, I am a huge hockey fan. The truth is the season is really long, 82 games plus the playoffs. At the start of the year, every team has one goal, to win the Stanley Cup.

That goal can be inspiring, or overwhelming, especially when the path might be 7 or more months away.

One thing that winning teams do is to clearly define what winning looks like this week, or what does it look like to win the day?

Building solid routines, and consistently sticking to them, gives you a much higher percentage of success.

GET OFF THE BENCH & INTO THE GAME

For your next leadership meeting have every player on your team answer these questions:

1) What does success look like for you on Friday afternoon?

2) How will you measure it?

3) What can you commit to doing everyday to move closer to this goal?

4) What is one thing you can do less of this week?
