THE PLAY OF THE WEEK
I recently started my own podcast called “Stop Stepping in Stupid”.
The premise is that, as business leaders, we all make stupid decisions.
You know, the decisions that we regret or the things that we did that we didn’t even realize were, were “stupid”.
But we all make those decisions.
The challenge is often others really think, why do we do this?
Other people on our team think, why do we do this? But we never give them the opportunity to share that.
GET ON THE ICE
The one question that can lead to tremendous insights.
If, and this is a big if, if you have a culture of honest sharing and fun, is, what is the stupidest thing that we do at this company?
Go around the table and have everybody share their answers.
Hopefully, you can do it in a fun tone. We will never get those answers until we ask the question.
