THE PLAY OF THE WEEK

Another year around the sun means it’s time for my annual review – not the corporate kind with HR forms, but the real kind that actually matters.

Here’s what I’ve learned: Most people plan their vacations better than they plan their lives. They’ll spend hours researching hotels but won’t spend 30 minutes reviewing what worked, what didn’t, and what they want to create next.

The magic isn’t in the questions – it’s in actually answering them honestly and then taking action on what you discover.

GET ON THE ICE

Ready to design your next 365 days? Here’s your annual review process:

  • Celebrate your wins: Write down your 5 biggest accomplishments this year – you earned them
  • Learn from challenges: List your 3 biggest struggles and what they taught you
  • Design your future: Get specific about what you want to create in the next 12 months
  • Take immediate action: Pick one insight from your review and act on it this week
