THE PLAY OF THE WEEK

Stop Driving Without a Compass

Most business owners are so busy getting through the day, they forget to set a real destination. If you don’t know where you’re going, how will you know if you’re on the right road—or making progress at all?

Think of your business journey like setting the GPS in your car. You don’t just say, “Take me for a ride.” You pick a destination. But in business, we often skip this step and end up reacting to whatever comes our way.

If you have no destination, you’ll never know if you’re winning or just spinning your wheels.

GET ON THE ICE

This week’s challenge:

  1. Set your compass. Take 10 minutes to write down what you want your life and business to look like two years from today. Be specific—include your age, your team, your ideal week, and what you’re doing more (and less) of.
  2. Pick one thing to act on. What’s one small step you can take this week to move closer to that vision? Write it down and do it.
  3. Share your destination. Tell your team, a peer, or your coach where you’re headed. Clarity creates momentum.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK
