THE PLAY OF THE WEEK

Stop Trying to Figure It Out All By Yourself

I would not be here sitting here talking to you if I didn’t have coaches in my life.

I’ve had business coaches for the last 18 years. I’ve had coaches in all different areas—fitness, health, diabetes. I would simply not be here without coaches.

Anybody that tells you the lone wolf myth is lying to you. We all need help.

I would never hire a coach that doesn’t have a coach. If you don’t invest in yourself, why would anybody else?

So here’s this week’s play:

Stop trying to figure it out all by yourself.

You have blind spots. You can’t read the label from inside the jar.

Start asking for help.

GET ON THE ICE

  1. Do you have a coach right now? If not, why not?
  2. Who could you reach out to this week for help, guidance, or perspective? A mentor, a peer, a coach, someone who’s already where you want to go.
  3. What’s the ONE area where you’re stuck that you need outside help with? Name it. Then find someone who can help.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

“A coach is someone who tells you what you don’t want to hear, who has you see what you don’t want to see, so you can be who you have always known you could be.”
